Stevo and Neil.. this one is for you!! Shamisen: a three stringed Japanese traditional guitar that requires extreme concentration!!

the new improved &#@*%# stroke

thoughts! a powerful novel and Jasper!

Very good work this week.. just a few more key training sessions before the regeneration period!

Ponder this quote for a few minutes and before your next hard session:

The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
Arthur C. Clarke

Pick up this book for some reading in Tucson (if you haven't read it already). The Power of One

Jasper read this when he was contemplating retiring from the sport of triathlon.. after reading it he set out to train like never before and won Ironman Canada.

Hatley Castle hilly 8km, February 24,08

Sunday Feb 24th, was the much anticipated Hatley Castle 8km at Royal Roads University. This is one very hilly run. NTC athletes displayed some fine running despite being in the middle of a training block. New course records by Kirsty Smith in the overall women and Kyla and Alex Coates in the junior women's field. Everyone attained best times.. some by minutes: Matt Sharpe - 2min11sec faster than last year. Full results and pics at: http://pih.bc.ca/results/Series.php?race=151

Andrew: fine performance at the Whistler Loppet 30km. Too bad about the broken pole.

Great job guys and girls. Let's keep it rolling. Just a few weeks to the Tucson Camp. Mount Lemmon awaits!!

Train Hard, Win Easy. The Kenyan Way.

no shortcuts, if you want to win.. train hard (and smart)! some cool footage of the Kenyans training and racing. They kind of look like JP running so effortlessly.
